elupho wants elupho.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.
Our commitment
At elupho, accessible pages are part of everyday maintenance rather than an extra. Each new page and each change of design is checked so that text stays readable, the menu can be used without a mouse and no information depends on a single visual cue. The statement applies to elupho.com only.
Known limitations
A number of illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject instead of describing it in detail.
Standards
Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We describe the site as partially conformant, because a few elements still fall short of individual criteria; pages are reviewed regularly and problems are fixed as they are found.
Reporting a barrier
Please report any accessibility problem you encounter by email to hello@elupho.com or by telephone on 01743 358216. A short description of the page, of the difficulty and of the device or assistive technology involved allows us to reproduce the fault. We normally answer within five working days and explain what we intend to do about it.
What we do
The website uses semantic HTML with a clear heading structure, one main heading per page and link texts that make sense on their own. Navigation and main content are marked as separate regions, each page states its language for screen readers, and images that carry information have text alternatives.
Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.
Other ways to reach us
The website is not the only way to get information from elupho. You can call us on 01743 358216 during business hours, write to hello@elupho.com or send a letter to 14 Castle Foregate Mews, Shrewsbury SY1 2EL; if a page does not work for you, we can read its content to you by telephone or send it as plain text.
Preparation and review
The present statement is dated 20 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by elupho, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
